Turning 10 is certainly something to be celebrated, but for two Manchester institutions to reach this landmark birthday in the same year? That calls for a party of a very special kind. In fact, make that two. WHP’s autumn season will run from September until 1 January 2016, and they’ve joined forces with Manchester International Festival to bring punters two extra 1,800 capacity events at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot. After seeing MIF13 invite Massive Attack and Adam Curtis to this same venue, it’s only expected that this new celebration called ’10×10′ brings artists of equal calibre and don’t fret, they’ve fulfilled that requirement, and more. The first date sees Four Tet (pictured) playing his sublime new record (Morning/Evening – listen below)  live along with Tyondai Braxton (formerly part of Battles) and Koreless, and the second is somewhat of a bumper event that features Carl Craig & Mike Banks with DJ Koze, Joy Orbison, Kyle Hall, and live shows from Octave One and Paranoid London. The plethora of talent speaks for itself, do not miss out on these.
