Manchester songwriter Nev Cottee has announced a headlining solo show hot on the heels of his imminent new album, Broken Flowers. After cutting his teeth with multiple Manchester indie rock outfits since the early 2000s, Cottee settled as a solo artist when he unleashed debut LP Stations in 2013. His almost whispered bedtime story vocals and downtempo dreamscapes have placed his more recent compositions at the Spiritualised end of the spectrum, so expect a Deaf Institute set alight by glistening dulcet glows. Support on the night is courtesy of The Coral’s former rhythmic guitarist, Lee Southall.
