Best known for his novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and the slew of awards it brought, Mark Haddon arrives at MLF with a one-man talk covering a wide variety of topics from great white sharks to ice hockey, taking in cosmology and creative writing along the way. After the event, Haddon will be signing copies of The Red House, his third novel for adults, though he has written many more for children. Similar to The Curious Incident, his new book explore families and the secrets hidden among them. A witty and engaging speaker, he’s likely to prove a highlight of the festival calendar.
