Whether you recognise the name or not, chances are you know Mick Foley. Be it from his wrestling days as Cactus Jack/Dude Love/Mankind, as a best-selling author, or guest star on 30 Rock (as Mankind in S6 E4) Mick Foley has been through the ringer in more way than one. Having retired from wrestling he has written four memoirs about his life and times in the ring as well as four works of children’s fiction. He’s currently earning his keep as a stand up comedian. After huge success at Montreal’s Just For Laughs and the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, Foley is taking his show on the road. Combining stories from the ridiculous world of wrestling with his life out of the ring, which he claims is faker than wrestling ever was, plus his natural easy going charm, this is one not just for fans of those fighters in the squared circle.
