Critically acclaimed jazz bass virtuoso Miles Mosley and his band, The West Coast Get Down, will head to Band on the Wall this summer as part of their Uprising LP tour. Mosley treats his stand-up bass as a vehicle for genuine innovation in musical expression, channelling his unerring dexterity into a range of compositions. Synonymous with polyrhythmic flourishes as well as thoughtful breakdowns, Mosley leads his band around the far corners of jazz and has shared stages and studios with performers as diverse as Gnarls Barkley, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna and Korn’s Jonathan Davies.
