Seattle alt-rockers Minus The Bear’s June tour is to kick start at Manchester’s Gorilla. The shows will be the first chance to see performances of songs from their sixth album, Voids, in the UK. Released at the start of March, the record is their first for five years, returning to the Suicide Squeeze label for the first time since 2007’s Planet of Ice. Critics have been purring over “yet another great album” (Drowned in Sound, 8/10) and awarding healthy ratings, like Paste Magazine’s 7.8/10, for an LP that combines the best elements of the indie-math rockers’ history of catchiness, emotion and warm prog vibes.
