Manchester indie-pop choralists MONEY have been named as the main support for Wild Beasts’ tour, which calls at Manchester Academy. The band, who have released two albums via the Bella Union label, will be a perfect match for the Domino-signed headliner’s falsetto harmonies and soaring guitars, and have continued their upward curve into 2016, which began with the launch of their sophomore LP, Suicide Songs. It’s a musical combination first explored during Wild Beasts’ 2014 tour of mainland Europe and comes at a time when Wild Beasts are also buoyed by a recent record of new material, having revealed Boy King in August. Opening the show will be the hotly tipped Ardyn, whose woozy melodies have been favourably compared with Haim and Låpsley.
