Last week Sankeys announced that it would be closing its doors this May, prompting party-goers to reminisce about what they may or may not have done at the iconic superclub over the years. Mostly they had done drugs and danced loads. Ah, sweet memories. Give yourself one last Sankeys memory with Secretsundaze a week before it’s gone for good. Lining up for the night along with Secretsundaze’s own Giles Smith and James Priestly, are the Deaf Institute’s Arthouse (whose monthly basement nights are always a sell out), Picadilly Records’ Matt Ward (Wet Play) and Patrick Ryder (Discofutura), and Oxymoron’s Greg Purnell and Darryl Marsden. Playing some of the most innovative and exciting house and techno around, this may be the last time you have to get lost in Ancoats.
