The UK’s finest cosmic musketeers play an all-too rare full band gig in Manchester. Since their signing to Wah Wah 45s, the crew have grown from strength to strength, working with the likes of Shafiq Husayn of Sa-Ra Creative Partners, and Pyramid Vritra of Stones Throw for their album Blast Off. Paper Tiger’s latest release is the fourth entry in the Sonic Boom Head Zoom series, recorded live in one take at Leeds’ ATA Studios and containing plenty of improvised electronic / jazz / hip hop / funk jams with raps. In support tonight is Hunrosa, led by PT and Cinematic Orchestra member Sam Vicary.
