Comedian Matt King is to reprise his popular role as TV slacker Super Hans by hitting the road for a show expected to be part DJ set, part stand-up. The Peep Show character’s offbeat wit and wisdom brought us one-liners like, ‘People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can’t trust people,’ and on the topic of DJing theorised that, ‘The longer the note, the more dread’ – so perhaps only expect Chris Martin references if they’re tongue-in-cheek or slowed down dramatically. King’s career outside of Peep Show launched via 15 years on the Australian stand-up comedy circuit, while his film credits include Bronson, Made In Dagenham and Paddington, and more recently his Alive show ensures Super Hans can live out his dreams, so far having successfully aired at festivals and one-off gigs.
