Nomadic cabaret and spoken word night, Pen:Chant, presents at two-night takeover of HOME, headlined by Rosie Carrick. Carrick is well versed in the history of the Russian revolution, the centenary of which is bring celebrated by HOME’s current A Revolution Betrayed season. Leading the charge with Carrick will be Pen:Chant’s award-winning host Ben Mellor. They will be joined on the Friday by Jerusalem-born multi-instrumentalist Avital Raz, while Saturday support comes from world-record-breaking beatboxer and playwright, Testament. Whether your skill is spoken word or soulful songs, show your talent at the open mic each night. Raising a rabble of riotous sounds throughout the weekend’s wordsmithery will be equality DJ collective English Disco Lovers, proclaiming one world, one race, one disco.
