What better way to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Bridgewater Hall than to invite along one of the musical legends if the last half century for an evening of Beethoven? Manchester Camerata have pulled off quite a coup in securing Israeli-born, Grammy-award-winning violinist Pinchas Zukerman (pictured), at 68 youngest of that golden generation that included Daniel Barenboim and Itzakh Perlman. He will play and conduct Beethoven’s great Violin Concerto, while Camerata musical director Gábor Takács-Nagy takes over for the lesser known but no less stunning Symphony No.4.
