Tickets go on sale soon for the Pug Cafe at LEAF on Portland Street. For one day only, in early December, this teashop/bar will become will become the Pug Café. The aim is to help purebred pugs and crosses (plus their owners, of course) have a lovely Christmas do. There will be a whole menu full of treats especially for your furry friends, many with pun-tastic names. Don’t worry, there’s also refreshments for humans, too. Along with LEAF’s usual fayre, there will be mulled wine and hot cider. The organisers are predicting the event is going to be very popular, so it’s strictly booking only. There’s also limited space for people who don’t have a dog of their own, but are just fans of the little squashed-faced creatures. A percentage of money raised will go to a canine charity.
