The Longford Park-based Uprising Bakehouse is hosting a vegetarian and vegan feast in honour of the start of summer – with limited places to book for now. Chefs involved include Wendy Swetnam (formerly of Bistro 1847, and now best known for her Wendy’s House supperclub) and joining Wendy is the author of Modernist Vegetarian and a number of other vegetarian tomes, Eddie Shepherd. It looks like a party, a place to meet people and a meal all in one, and it’s going to be served in the current cafe space which is occupied by the Uprising Bakehouse and Caffeine and Co. Diners will get to enjoy four courses of the finest local and seasonal home cooked food with live music accompaniment. Its BYOB and numbers are limited to a cosy 25.
