Lancashire’s Michelin star-winning luxury restaurant Northcote invites you to pull up a seat at the chef’s table to learn how to cook a five star gourmet meal during a virtual cook-a-long. Due to take place on Friday 26 March, viewers will receive expert guidance from Northcote’s executive-chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen who will be on hand to talk you through how to create Spring dishes from the restaurant’s limited edition Seat at the Chef’s Table food box, which is available now for £195.

Throughout a live cook-a-long event, Goodwin-Allen will show you how to prepare each dish included within Northcote’s new food box – all from the comfort of your own kitchen. Designed to feed two, each kit comes with the necessary ingredients to create starters, mains and desserts. To begin, foodies can look forward to tucking in to Northcote’s signature cheese board and smoked salmon, salmon caviar, lemon, caper and Northcote’s signature sausage roll. From there, Goodwin-Allen will show you how to make your main using seasonal ingredients including New Season’s lamb sausage – and for dessert, it’s lemon meringue gateaux, smashed meringue and runny cream, all topped off with Northcote’s handcrafted chocolates.
