Gorilla hosts the first part of Selective Hearing’s 4th birthday celebrations, where Permanent Vacation’s Mano Le Tough and Ostgut Ton’s Prosumer will be joining the residents. Mano Le Tough has been gaining props from esteemed house visionaries Ame and Dixon, but it’s Prosumer who is the real reason for getting excited here. The Berlin resident is a key part of the Panorama Bar setup, and is undeniably one of the most well-respected tastemakers in house music today. Never afraid to take risks, Prosumer was one of the first DJs outside of London to embrace UK Funky and it is that willingness to embrace new sounds that has led to his rise in the house scene and beyond. Plus I have seen him play a Swing Ting record, so it’s pretty clear that his taste is impeccable. There’s no doubt that this is the kind of event that Gorilla’s club space is suited to and despite the large capacity, the first release of tickets has already sold out, meaning that if you want to party with the Selective Hearing gang, acting quickly is advised.
