The musical brains behind ‘Pretty Vacant’ and ‘God Save The Queen’ is to perform from his vast repertoire at Manchester’s Gorilla. Favoured to Sid Vicious to record the bass guitar on most of the Sex Pistols’ acclaimed album despite already having left the band, Glen Matlock has since gone on to collaborate with a who’s who of punk and rock icons, writing for or with Iggy Pop, Viv Albertine and Wendy James. There’ll be no ‘Anarchy In The UK’ at Gorilla though, with a fully seated show to savour his contribution to music since 1977.
