Former Specials vocalist Neville Staple and his band are set to enliven the Band on the Wall soundsystem at a pre-Xmas show. Now a sexagenarian and still The Original Rudeboy, Staple’s life in music is essential to the chronicles of ska, reggae, new wave and the Two Tone signature sound in the UK. His past few years have been spent introducing new generations to the spirit of ska, conquering stages from Glastonbury to BoomTown, so book early for this one. He’ll be joined on the night by the local ska floor-fillers, Mancheska.
