Kele Okereke has confirmed a date at Manchester’s Deaf Institute to air songs from his new record, Fatherland. Having long since won indie hearts and minds as the frontman with recently reunited Bloc Party, Okereke’s solo career continues to flourish with similarly astute lyrical wit and a knack for a memorable melody. Fatherland is the third LP under his solo name and documents his newfound parenthood, adopting a suitably heartfelt musical style that expands his horizons into acoustic guitar and piano.
