On Monday 20 January, the Manchester Road venue will be launching the first of a planned monthly series of Just Fair Laughs comedy nights featuring a handful of cutting edge stand up acts for a bargain price tag. Their debut evening promises performances from Britain’s Got Talent finalist and Golden Buzzer winner Daliso Chaponda and Archie Kelly, a comedian and vocal mimic whose previous screen credits include Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights. The duo will be joined on stage by resident MC Tony Vino who’ll be on hand to keep the laughs going between acts. Tickets for The Font’s inaugural comedy night are priced at just £7 – while £30 will get you and a friend the Comedy Combo, a package that includes two tickets, a glass of house wine, pint of house beer or a soft drink and a Meze board that’s perfect for sharing.
