Extra seats for Stephen Fry’s show at the Bridgewater Hall in September have been released, and are selling out fast. The event is a preview of More Fool Me, a new volume of Fry’s memoirs, with both the book and show telling the story of Fry’s life in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This was the era of A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, and Black Adder, when Fry achieved stardom but partied hard with little regard for the consequences. This show is a rare opportunity to see the multi-award-winning comedian, actor, presenter, writer and raconteur live on stage in a one-man tour de force. Each ticket will include a free copy of the book (RRP £25), to be collected on the night. The show will be followed by a book signing.
Wed 24 Sep, Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, M2 3WS, 7.30pm, £29.50, www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk
