Popular city-centre beer fest Summer Beer Thing returns to Sadler’s Yard later this month for its third – and biggest – instalment yet. Created by the brains behind Indy Man Beer Con, Port Street Beer House and The Pilcrow, this year’s Summer Beer thing promises to feature the very best new brews from the North West and beyond, alongside a selection of street food from the likes of Marot Pizza and Vaso kitchen. Plus, new for 2019 is a cocktail bar collaboration with Bring & Mix and Campari UK which will be serving up bespoke cocktails throughout the weekend. Located in the city sanctuary that is Sadler’s Yard, the festival’s latest outing will bring together over 200 different beers across the weekend, with bars separated into categories for ease of access. Expect dedicated pale ale, IPA and fruit and sour beer bars, while Sadler’s Yard hang-out The Pilcrow Pub serves its usual selection of spirits, wines and Prosecco. The team promise to deliver details of the full beer line up and running order soon but in the meantime, tickets for each day session can be bought here.
