The Gin Journey makes its Manchester debut

Proving that our food and drink credentials really don’t have to be such a far cry from what the capital has to offer, this February London’s popular gin trail, The Gin Journey, is set to launch here in Manchester. From the mind of gin maestro Leon Dalloway, who used to work our own vibrant bar scene not too long ago, The Gin Journey takes booze lovers around specially selected bars to sample the best that the city has to offer within the very much revived gin world – on the agenda you’ll find Hawksmoor, Home Sweet Home at the Great Northern, Gorilla’s gin parlour, the beautiful bar tucked away on Cane and Grain’s first floor and newcomer Cottonopolis. As well as neat tastes, G&Ts and cocktails, the immersive journey also pays homage to gin’s connection with Manchester and the Bridgewater Canal, delving into the unique history of its botanical trade while also exploring what it is that’s made us fall head over heels in love with gin all over again.
