The annual Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia returns later this year, taking over the Baltic Triangle – an old industrial quarter, which has been converted into music venues and event spaces, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. This year’s line-up will take you on a psychedelic musical voyage across the world. US band The Black Angels – bigwigs within the psych scene – are the headliners for this edition, with the Mali-based  Songhoy Blues (Mali) stopping off for the UK leg of their European tour. Former Stereolab vocalist Laetitia Sadier and Acid Arab will be adding a French touch to the line-up, with psych/garage-rock outfit Wolf People and psych/jazz/electronica band The Comet is Coming representing Blighty. This is just a sample of the bands playing across two venues, alongside the usual audiovisual installations and artist curations. Look out for further announcements over the Summer.
