Denver folk rockers the Lumineers are set to return to the scene of their triumphant 2013 show by storming Manchester’s Apollo once more this October. Their honeyed tones and singalong crescendos were stars of the recent Glastonbury festival and have once again been unleashed on record with a new single, Cleopatra, released via YouTube early in July in support of their 2016 album of the same name. By the time Wesley Schultz et al’s world tour pulls into Manchester, there’ll be plenty of time to devour their fresh collection of Americana. Bahamas are billed in an appropriate warm-up slot, shining with radiant indie-folk grooviness through the Grade II listed venue.
