Foodies wanting a twist to the usual seafood fayre should check out The Sardinistas’ kitchen takeover at Palate in Chorlton. The purveyors of Portuguese food will team up with caterers Taste The Love for an evening dedicated to the delicacy of canned fish. The menu, straight from the conservas surrounding the seas of Portugal, will showcase the best of petiscos (Portuguese tapas) and quality canned fish. Wine bar hosts Palate will accompany the menu with specially curated Iberian cocktails. Advance tickets can be bought online, or you avoid the booking fee by purchasing a ticket from The Sardinistas themselves – they can be found at Altrincham market on weekends and on Tuesdays.
