Since his breakthrough record, 2015’s Beauty Behind the Madness, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd has gone on to become one of the world’s biggest stars. He has won 3 Grammy Awards and sold over 70 million records in the US alone, known for his unmistakable falsetto, emotionally-charged lyrics and his eclectic R&B production — which draw on indie and electronic music influences.
