Book now: There’s a N64 Goldeneye Tournament coming to The Font Chorlton

Bond badass? Golden gun God? If so, it sounds like you should get down to The Font in Chorlton on Wed 30 Oct to take part in The Bit Squad’s N64 Goldeneye tournament where prizes will be dished out to the best players. From 6.30pm to 11pm, game fans can enjoy a free play zone at the back of the venue, featuring retro game consoles like Sega Mega Drive and PlayStation 2. Everyone is welcome and if you fancy a more up to-date game console or a different style of gaming, bringing your own favourite title is welcomed – and encouraged. You’ll find The Font’s usual great selection of drinks at the bar, and by purchasing a lifetime membership from The Bit Squad for only £1, you’ll be entitled to 2 for £6 cocktails, £3 pints and more. While you’re fighting off villains on a retro PlayStation, or darting through the maps on Mario Kart, you can enjoy music from Red Cardinal Music DJs, who are bringing a mashup of songs, from 80s synth to cheesy pop, and of course, gaming tunes! Best bit? The event is completely free to attend.
