Looking for something to get you in the Halloween spirit? Experiencing that awful feeling of knowing you’re just too old for trick-or-treating? Have no fear – this Halloween The Village Screen, based in Manchester’s Victoria Baths, will once again transform itself into the aptly titled Village Scream to show two spooky classics: Beetlejuice on Thu Oct 31 and The Conjuring on Fri Nov 1. The stunning Victoria Baths will change shape into a den of ghouls and monsters; to become a venue that is sure to terrify and excite even the most hardcore horror fans. There will be a pop-up bar serving themed cocktails and beer – and a Village Scream resident DJ will be on hand to provide a suitably spooky soundtrack. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume, so these two screenings double up as the perfect opportunity for you to get creative this Halloween season. Audience members can book either to sit on deck chairs located in the Gala Pool itself, or on wooden seating based on a balcony level. This monster mash is sure to be a smash.
