Manchester comedy institution XS Malarkey has come a long way since its humble beginnings at the now defunct Scruffy Murphys in Fallowfield all the way back in 1997. In the twenty years since they may have moved around quite a few times but their ethos of great comedy at an affordable price has remained the same and they have housed some of the biggest and brightest stand ups on the country’s comedy scene at both the beginning and zenith of their careers. Though they’re being suitably tight lipped about who might be performing alongside host Toby Hadoke at this year’s birthday show it’s sure to be a stellar line up and one you’re advised to book tickets for immediately.
