Two favourites of the Manchester food and drink scene join forces on Wed 27 Nov as Runaway Brewery and Indian food experts Zouk host an evening of perfectly paired plates. Imagine poppadoms with a hoppy pale, samosas with a delicious sour brew or charcoal lamb followed swiftly by a sturdy stout – you’ll find all this and more as experts from both Zouk and Runaway take you on a guided tour of their paired tasting menu, spanning six dishes and six locally crafted beers. Lucky attendees can expect to be treated to a variety of flavours – from vegetable, fish, chicken and lamb plates to a dessert that promises to end things on a sugary high. As if this culinary celebration wasn’t enough, you’ll also get the chance to quiz the experts at Zouk and Runaway on the thinking behind their pairing process and even share your thoughts on what flavoursome notes their new collaborative brew should hit. Tickets for this event are limited and can be purchased via Eventbrite for £25 per person. Entrance also includes the opportunity to buy your own Runaway beers or Zouk gift cards, both of which will be available on the night. Check out details of the full menu below:
