Manchester Food and Drink Festival returns this week, celebrating 20 years at the heart of the city’s dining scene. Every year, venues across Greater Manchester pull out all the stops for the Festival. Harvey Nichols is taking part with a celebration of food and drink called ‘Taste on Two’ on Monday 2 October, as well as and an evening set menu, available throughout the Festival, that includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

Taste on Two  – a gourmet experience for £10
Tickets for this unique feast are only £10 per person and include a complimentary drink upon arrival at the Second Floor Bar and Brasserie as well as the chance to sample gourmet goodies located at tasting stations around the room. Suppliers include The Bread Factory, Tarte & Berry, Pickle House, Rosemary Water, Sugarfina, Sweet Potato Liqueurs, Harvey Nichols Own Label, and many more. The evening event also serves up a virtual reality tour of Manchester’s Three Rivers gin distillery as well as talks, cooking demonstrations (based on the Brasserie’s new, autumn menu) and a toffee apple workshop. Sounds like a deal to us.

MFDF17 offer: The Brasserie’s set menu with a complimentary glass of Prosecco for £22 or £18
