Making the journey up North following fourteen successful instalments in London, Hishek Bishek brings a night of big bass, folk explorations and rhythmic beats to Band on the Wall this June. Making its first ever appearance in Manchester, take yourself on a sonic trip through the Middle East’s burgeoning electronic musical landscape with one of the biggest Arabic Electronic parties in the UK. Resident DJ SuperMike will be on hand to soundtrack the evening, digging deep to spin some deep cuts spanning floor-filling new releases to cheesy classics. Electro chaabi tracks and hypnotic remixes from the Levant will give you a glimpse into the sound that’s pushing the boundaries of the Arabic world’s alternative music scene. Expect seamless blends of nostalgia 90s hits, chart-topping Lebanese hits, Syrian Dabke dance, underground Rai and alternative grooves, along with sets exploring the traditional Arab world. We’re lucky enough to have two pairs of tickets up for grabs. To be in with a chance of winning, simply add your details into the form below.
