One of East Africa’s most loved bands hits Manchester in October, having spent the past 40 years bringing joy to dance floors worldwide. Many lovers of international sounds are recent discoverers of the band thanks to Soundway’s compilation Kenya Special 2, on which you may hear the track N’Seya. Determined to keep on touring and spreading their sound, the elder statesmen consider their recent international exposure a ‘second chance at life’ and consider themselves the only crew playing this kind of old school African rumba.
