Damon Riddick – better known to you and I as DJ/producer Dâm-Funk – visits Manchester this summer for a night of Los Angeles funkadelia. His appearance in Manchester comes sandwiched between visits to the Netherlands for Down The Rabbit Hole, and Düsseldorf’s Open Source Festival. Supporting the recent release of latest record STFU II, Funk has been finding plenty of praise for being one of the key figures spearheading a new wave of funk. An expert collaborate and remixer, Riddick has found many fans with his work alongside the likes of Christine & The Queens, Snoop Dogg, Little Dragon, Ariel Pink and Animal Collective. Support for his night on Swan Street comes from forward-thinking, energetic jazz duo Skeltr, along with local favourites, the Me Gusta DJs.
