Book tickets: Don Letts Carnival Sound returns to Band On The Wall

Hot on the heels of an exciting series of club nights last September, broadcaster, producer, Grammy Award-winning filmmaker and all round punk legend Don Letts returns to Band On The Wall with his legendary cultural-clash DJ set in tow. Back on 3 May, Carnival Sound is a genre-blending and border crossing night of influential music and carnival vibes. The expert collaborator and eardrum-annihilator will be feeding his usual mix of carnival classics, reggae, funk, disco, and hip hop throughout the Swan Street venue, providing the soundtrack to what will be an incredible night out. If that doesn’t get your legs moving already, support comes from local fusion outfit Agbeko, drawing influence from a range of 1970’s Nigerian, Ghanaian and Ethiopian floor fillers. Also on the bill, fans can expect some of the finest wax from DJ/selector Dom Blood & Fire.
