Book tickets: Family rave at the Golden Lion in Todmorden

Following a storming New Year’s family rave at Todmorden’s Golden Lion, the Playhouse Project are returning to do it all again in celebration of Mother’s Day. Organised by a crew of ex-ravers and DJs who are now parents, the project is an exclusive, all-ages rave experience aimed at parents who long for a return to their clubbing years. Families can look forward to big beats and good vibes from scratch DJ and music maker Peter Parker, spinning classic hip hop, electro, funk, and everything in-between. As well as great music, attendees can look forward to free glow sticks, dancers, club lighting, visuals, bubble machines, inflatables and giant balloons. In place of the chill out room, kids can take some time away from the music with craft tables, play doh areas, a book corner and face painting. Cake and sweet stalls (plus a fully licensed bar for the mums and dads) will also be available. Playhouse Project will also be back in the near future for an Easter special on 19 April, with feel good DJ Lil’ Fee.
