Teesside husband and wife duo Megson have been refining their musical craft for 15 years, in which time they’ve become one of the finest songwriting partnerships on the UK folk scene. Made up of Debs Hanna on vocals, whistle and piano accordion, and Stu Hanna on guitar, mandola and banjo, the pair are on the road supporting their freshly released ninth studio album Contradicshun, out now on EDJ Records. Megson haven’t been short of praise on the UK scene with a track record of producing arresting, roots-y songwriting backed up with lush harmonies and impressive musicianship.
