Fun Lovin’ Criminal Huey Morgan is returning to Band On The Wall this September to throw another massive NYC-flavoured block party. Joined by revered turntablist collective Scratch Perverts to get those feet warmed up, expect another night of the best funk, soul, disco and hip hop from the East Side aficionado. His legendary band the Fun Lovin’ Criminals found fans blending NYC grit with laid back rock ‘n’ roll songwriting and quickly found themselves rising to the top of the nineties alt-rock scene, with singles such as ‘Scooby Snacks’ regular guests on the UK charts. Now often heard on the other side of the mixing desk with weekly shows on BBC 6Music, Morgan is certainly no stranger to Manchester with his regular block parties going down a storm on Swan Street, usually selling out in the process.
