Grammy Award-winning musician Bill Laurance visits The Stoller Hall this spring for an evening of melodic jazz and electronica fusion. His appearance in Manchester will come shortly after the release of latest solo work Cables, on which Bill plays the role of one-man-band, with his unique and beautiful piano playing at the forefront. Supporting the album, his fifth record since 2014’s Flint, Laurance is on the road for a string of European dates. The renowned multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer first found fans and widespread acclaim as a founding member of the much-loved funk and jazz fusion collective Snarky Puppy. Bill’s work also encompasses film scores, most recently for Sundance-nominated Un Traductor, alongside work with prestigious dance companies and collaborations with the likes of David Crosby, Morcheeba, Salif Keita, Bobby McFerrin, Susana Baca and many more.
