Manchester will welcome its first podcast festival in early October with an ambitious line up featuring some of the biggest shows in the UK at present. Kicking off on Thursday 4th October with award winning comedian Sofie Hagen’s Secret Dinosaur Cult podcast at Union Theatre, followed by Gabriel Ebulue’s music discussion The Three Track Podcast and concluding on the Sunday with The Guilty Feminist at The Dancehouse. In between there are appearances from Russell Kane, Jess Fostekew, Craig Parkinson’s Two Shot Podcast, The Totally Football Show with James Richardson and a rare away day for Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (except it’s at the Manchester Dancehouse Theatre instead). With a promise of more to come next year this is already an impressive debut for the city and big guests from across the North West are to be announced for each of the shows.
