Composer, producer and innovator Max Cooper brings his latest album One Hundred Billion Sparks to Gorilla this year with a series of boundary-pushing shows. Following the release of his third LP in September 2018, Cooper has toured an 270 immersive audio-visual experience, employing the roof and walls of venues to envelop crowds in his world of visuals. Billed as a “sensory extravaganza”, the new show – and record – are the result of a month in complete isolation at a remote cottage in Wales, removing himself from day to day life and human contact. Since releasing debut album ‘Human’ just five years ago, Cooper has found himself placed as one of contemporary electronica’s most forward-thinking figures. His latest show has already sold out London’s prestigious Koko, and tickets for his appearance in Manchester are expected to sell fast.
