Mel C (aka Sporty Spice) has had the most successful solo career of all the Spices. That’s 12 million albums sold worldwide since her debut solo release Northern Star in 1999. Mel released her seventh studio album Version of Me earlier this year to critical acclaim. She’ll be touring around the UK next year, coming to Manchester’s O2 Ritz in April, performing to newly recruited fans and the many hardcore Spice Girl devotees out there. Recent material is a rich, upbeat and up to date sound from Mel; her voice is as strong as ever especially on pop gems like Anymore and Blame off the record.
