The Ocean Film Festival returns to Stockport Plaza in October with a shoal of films in tow, all inspired by the big blue. Highlights of the programme of short films and documentaries include The Right about Australian Gold Coast Surfer Ryan Hippwood taking on one of the world’s most dangerous and unpredictable waves and Ocean Stories: The Halls which showcases the work of Emmy-Award-winning underwater filmmaking couple, Howard and Michelle Hall. Films about female Indian surfers, the surf scene in Iceland, river living in Alaska and much more are part of the package.
