The Kingdom Choir found international recognition in 2018 when they thrilled a global audience of two billion people with an angelic and captivating performance at the Royal Wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. The group have now announced a UK tour starting this spring, performing at The Bridgewater Hall on 7 May. Led by conductor Karen Gibson, the choir have just seen off best-selling debut album Stand By Me, a collection of diverse covers, along with one brand new track, Chases. Founded in 1994, previous performances include an appearance at the Queen’s Jubilee, and collaborations with the Spice Girls and Elton John, as well as playing for Bill Clinton and Desmond Tutu. Tickets for their debut performance at the Bridgewater Hall are now on sale.
