One of the biggest dates in the Royal Horticultural Society’s calendar is the Tatton Park Flower Show. This 20th anniversary event will feature more themed show gardens than ever before including Cheshire’s Gardens of Distinction – four virtuoso designs which aim to show the richness of the local biodiversity. From Hop to Glass tells the story of brewing, and there will be edible botanicals and flavourings in the Ginspiration Garden. The Future Spaces category tackles some hot topics, including food security and climate change. In response to the declining bee populations, there is The Bee Hive – a large dome which will host talks and interactive features on the theme of attracting pollinators. Also new is The Poisonous Garden, where visitors can explore the dangerous nature of some of our best-loved plants. The Show is also a hub of demos and workshops, which will help you find a new favourite recipe or learn how to grow a prize-winning leek.
