Calling all hobbyists. You’ll find all the latest supplies, ideas, and innovations at the Creative Craft Show, which is taking place later this week at Event City Manchester. There will be over 100 stalls with everything from kits, charts, and patterns to fabrics, yarns, and buttons. Standout vendors include The Inventor’s Asylum, which merges art with science to bring you an array of creations; and the wonderfully-named Grans on the Make. You’ll also get the chance to glean advice from industry experts at a range of workshops, for both beginners and more skilled crafters. Bex Raven, AKA the Queen of Rust, will demonstrate her dyeing and stitching skills which draw inspiration from the Japanese art of Wabi Sabi. Paula from Cocoon&me will show you how to make stylish chunky knitting and macramé for the home. Certain other workshops have an additional fee, and pre-booking is advised.
