Brought to you in partnership with the British Science Association, this event is part of the Manchester Science Festival and hosted by Sam Illingworth, whose current horizons span poetry, theatre, and teaching Science Communication at MMU. In a thought-provoking fusion of disciplines, the Story Collider’s speakers are Simon Wheatcroft, blind ultramarathon runner; Aravind Vijayaraghavan, lecturer in nanomaterials; Bella Starling, Wellcome Trust Engagement Fellow; Russell Garwood, palaeontologist and Charlie-Hooson Sykes, writer and blogger.
