Lovers of the great outdoors and winter sports take note: The Warren Miller Ski-Film Tour is coming to the RNCM in January. For many outdoorsy types, this annual event is a highlight of the calendar, and something of an institution. Since 1949, Warren Miller and his company have been producing a feature-length skiing documentary every year. The latest, ‘Here, There & Everywhere’ is an anthology that chronicles the adventures of some of the veterans of snow sports. Through stunning cinematography, you’ll see skiers tackle the highest peaks from Alaska to Switzerland. Discover how the ski patrol in Kicking Horse, British Columbia brave the weather and terrain to control avalanches and keep their resort open. Viewers can also vicariously take a dog sled tour of Greenland, and ride the Glacier Express train through the Alps. There’s even ski jumping in non-mountainous Boston (Massachusetts, not Lincolnshire).
