Combining movement, imagery, and a provocative narrative is The Wedding, which comes to HOME in September. This new play was created by Gecko, an award-winning physical theatre company. The  ensemble of nine guide audiences through a strange, dystopian world where life is a blur of wedding dresses and contractual obligations, where everyone is a bride, married to society. But what are the terms of this relationship, and can people get a divorce? Gecko’s most ambitious play to date, was developed over a two-year period under the guidance of Artistic Director Amit Lahav. The company was established in 2001, and since then has created six full-length theatre shows, and run numerous youth projects and workshops. They first visited HOME last autumn with the universally hyped Institute.
